Anahi Torren makes music for still inner states — the kind that don't announce themselves. Songs for the hour before sleep, for rooms that hold warmth after everyone has left, for the particular quiet of being somewhere safe.
Her sound sits at the edge of indie and dark pop — contemplative, unhurried, intimate without being fragile. Influenced by the atmosphere of London Grammar, the tenderness of Novo Amor, the stillness of Grouper.
